The 32nd Annual Golf & Tennis Outing was created for the Isador Aberlin-Ed Rovner Memorial Scholarship Fund. This day has been set aside for some great golf and tennis while supporting the scholarship fund, and to honor the memory of two of the JCC's most beloved members.
Izzy Aberlin, the JCC's treasurer for many years, was deeply committed to fulfilling the camp and preschool needs for deserving children. Ed Rovner, a lifelong friend and fellow JCC board member with Izzy, was always a major supporter of our outing and so his name was added to the event's title on his passing.
Since it's inception, the scholarship fund has provided more the $1,000,000 to deserving families for membership, camp, nursery school, learning disabilities, and the Dorothy Delson Kuhn Music Institute.
